wild about wildlife:  saving the wilds of pungalina

This Benefit Dinner will be held in partnership with the Open in new windowAustralian Wildlife Conservancy (AWC) in order to raise funds for Open in new windowPungalina - a property spanning half a million acres of Australia's spectacular outback.

AWC is working in partnership with the US based Open in new windowWildlife Australia Fund Inc (WAFI) to help save Pungalina. Every dollar contributed to WAFI will be matched by anonymous donors in Australia, essentially doubling the fundraising efforts for this magnificent property in the Gulf of Carpentaria.

Open in new windowProfessor Tim Flannery, internationally acclaimed environmentalist, will present on the night.

The evening will have elements of fine Australian talent, including renowned Indigenous artist and recent ARIA Award winner, Open in new windowGeoffrey Gurrumul Yunupingu and the Open in new windowAustralian String Quartet

Australian celebrity chef Open in new windowPeter Evans will craft the menu with fresh produce flown in from Australia and paired with premium Australian wines.

Guests will experience an evening of creativity and theatrical flair, along with their support for Australia’s globally significant biodiversity.
