New York Times CenteR
Invitation only.
Storytelling is at the heart Australian culture -- from age old traditions passed down through art and music by generations of indigenous people, to Australia’s unique brand of modern day writers, performers, songwriters, designers, chefs and artists. It’s the Australian people, as well as the county’s inspiring natural landscapes, that provide the millions of people who visit and experience the country with their own special tales from Australia.
Tourism Australia will create an interactive showcase of Australian storytellers with performances and demonstrations from prominent names in the world of literature, art, food, music and travel.
There be Australian food and wine, plus displays and information on Indigenous and luxury tourism experiences. There will also be a trip giveaway and all guests will take home Australia in Style - a hardback book of 35 unique Australian travel experiences.
The objective of this event is to raise the profile of Australia as a premier Indigenous tourism destination. New York's elite will be invited to trial Australian Indigenous experiences at a signature cocktail networking reception which will incorporate interactive elements.
Audience: Trade, Media and VIPs.
